I just had a total flashback. I used to love these Garbage Pail Kids trading cards when I was a kid. The artist behind them, Art Spiegelman, had such a unique and twisted style that made them borderline R-rated. Its fun to go back and look at them after all these years. They’re still pretty funny!
Oh wow, total eighties flashback. I remember these - wasn’t too fond of them. I can’t believe Art Speigelman did them. That’s pretty amazing. He was the guy that wrote Maus (the biography of his parents in Auschwitz). This makes Garbage Pail Kids a little creepily Freudian.
