How true this is Cory! Cherry Creek school system had a mind-set that all kids should be in college prep classes and that just wasn't where you excelled. I recall a meeting with a guidance counselor your Jr. year that finally understood that you needed to be in different classes than algebra and chemistry! Between the special ed classes and the computer and graphic design courses that you took your Jr. and Sr. year, your GPA went from something pretty bad (less than 2.0 if I recall correctly) to a 3.6 your Senior year! It is wonderful that you were able to find your niche for a career you not only excel in, but also enjoy. And, I couldn't be more proud of you for harnessing your strenghts!
